Reporting into the HP Global Climate Organization, the Customer Climate Engagement and Strategic Programs Lead serves as a key connection point between customers, commercial organizations, HP Solutions, Sustainability, Product teams, Climate Data & Footprinting teams, and external partners, translating evolving customer climate needs into solutions, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and business opportunities.

Why this role matters

As customers face increasingly complex climate-reporting requirements, HP’s position as a trusted leader in decarbonization depends on turning climate expertise into customer value. This role combines customer engagement, sustainability expertise, program leadership, partnerships, and thought leadership to advance HP’s climate strategy while creating meaningful outcomes for customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise and support sales by acting as a trusted advisor on carbon accounting and sustainability data, managing customer pilots and innovation initiatives, and supporting tenders requiring detailed climate information.
  • Lead strategic climate programs and partnerships that advance HP’s climate and customer sustainability objectives, developing partnerships with customers, industry organizations, NGOs, and technology providers.
  • Shape capability and commercial integration by gathering customer, market, and technology insights to shape the roadmap for climate-reporting solutions and climate-data products, and integrating climate data into customer-facing platforms.
  • Drive communications and thought leadership by developing customer-facing narratives and content for speaking engagements, events, case studies, and executive briefings, translating complex climate topics into compelling business stories.
  • Develop the partner ecosystem by identifying and building partnerships that strengthen customer sustainability solutions and industry decarbonization outcomes.

Team and stakeholders

The role sits within the HP Global Climate Organization and partners with commercial organizations, HP Solutions, Sustainability, Product, Supply Chain, and Climate Data & Footprinting teams, as well as customers, industry organizations, NGOs, and technology providers.
