Position summary


ICF is seeking an experienced Program Manager for its Utility Programs and Services (UPS) division to lead and grow its energy efficiency programs in Georgia. You will lead the development and management of the Small Business Energy Savings (SBES) program, build relationships with clients, mentor junior team members, and design and implement program strategies and plans, interfacing with staff and clients locally in Georgia.

Key responsibilities


  • Program implementation: Implement programs through detailed management plans, quality control, and evaluation processes, and oversee daily operations of program staff.
  • Team leadership: Supervise direct reports, providing guidance and support, and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams of technical and marketing specialists (internal staff and subcontractors) to meet program goals.
  • Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships through in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Planning and analysis: Assist with program forecasts, budgets, and goals, and analyze market trends and technologies to enhance program performance.
  • Alignment: Coordinate with regional and national teams to align strategies and share best practices.
  • Adoption and reporting: Drive adoption of energy-efficient technologies by leveraging market knowledge and stakeholder relationships, and track progress and report results internally and to the client.


Team and stakeholders


The role supervises program staff, collaborates with cross-functional technical and marketing specialists and subcontractors, coordinates with regional and national teams, and engages clients and stakeholders across Georgia.


Key details


  • Work arrangement: Hybrid (Atlanta Metro preferred), with local travel within Georgia up to 30%; valid driver's licence required.
  • Compensation: Base salary anticipated up to $127,500 (posted range $98,614 to $167,644).


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline (one year of related experience may substitute for one year of education).
  • 5+ years of experience developing, designing, and administering successful energy efficiency and demand reduction programs for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits or related experience.
  • Valid driver's license; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check and drug screening.
  • Preferred: experience with the Georgia energy efficiency market, knowledge of sustainable building practices, client relationship management, junior staff management, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
