- Strategic account management: Oversee and cultivate an existing client portfolio, prioritizing long-term partnerships, retention, and expansion of service offerings within key accounts.
- Market intelligence: Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity to refine the value proposition and maintain a competitive edge.
Team and stakeholders
You will lead commercial growth in the Netherlands within the Climate & Nature Solutions Advisory team, cultivating corporate client relationships at C level and collaborating with Anthesis's internal team of sustainability subject matter experts.
Key details
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, with the expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.
- Compensation: Competitive salary in line with education, experience, and skills.
- Benefits: Work solely on sustainability and climate-impact projects, exposure to a wide range of global clients and projects, and a cooperative, supportive working atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 to 15 years in business development or commercial roles within consulting, advisory, or professional services, with a preference for sustainability.
- A minimum of 4 years managing corporate accounts and defining high-level commercial strategies at C level.
- Proven success in full-cycle outbound sales, from cold prospecting to contract closure, including complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling proposals, with structured, persuasive written and verbal communication.
- Solid working knowledge of corporate sustainability, covering net-zero strategies, carbon footprinting, decarbonization, and ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD, GRI, ISSB); expertise in supply chain sustainability, sustainable finance, and regulatory reporting is a plus.
- Understanding of voluntary carbon markets; familiarity with compliance and voluntary carbon credit products is a significant advantage.
- Experience operating within international organizations, ideally at EMEA level.
