Schneider Electric is seeking a Circularity & Green Materials Transformation Lead to drive environmental innovation across its product portfolio. Passionate about eco-design, you will make sustainability a competitive advantage, working at the heart of product development to conduct environmental impact assessments, embed eco-design principles, and influence real environmental outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Impact assessment: Conduct environmental impact assessments and recommend design changes that minimize lifecycle footprints.
- Eco-design partnership: Partner with product development teams to embed eco-design principles and meet environmental regulations.
- Data visualization: Create compelling data visualizations that inform sustainable product strategies and decision-making.
- Environmental expertise: Serve as the environmental expert for customer inquiries and communicate Schneider's sustainability performance.
Team and stakeholders
The role works closely with product development teams, cross-functional teams, and customers, and shapes sustainability strategy at senior levels.

- Locations and work arrangement: Boston, MA (also Eybens and Paris, France, and London & South East, UK); hybrid.
- Compensation: For this US-based position, an expected pay range of $117,600 to $176,400 per year (base pay plus short-term incentives).
Requirements:
- Environmental Data Analysis (advanced): conducting lifecycle assessments and interpreting complex environmental datasets.
- Data Visualization (advanced): translating environmental metrics into compelling visuals for stakeholders.
- Ecodesign (advanced): embedding sustainability principles into product design from concept through end-of-life.
- Product Lifecycle Analysis (advanced): evaluating environmental impacts across all product stages.
- Carbon Accounting (advanced): measuring and reporting carbon footprints to support reduction strategies.
- Communication (intermediate) and Critical Thinking (intermediate): articulating technical concepts and analyzing trade-offs between environmental performance and business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, creative thinking, and the ability to work independently while guiding and influencing cross-functional teams.
