Position summary
CDP, the global non-profit behind the world's only independent environmental disclosure system, is hiring an Associate Director, Corporates within its Sales function. The role is a key relationship-management contact for high-priority, strategic customers, driving business development, retention and revenue growth through renewals and greenfield sales across corporates, financial institutions, and data channels.

Financial institutions managing over a quarter of the world's institutional assets use CDP data, and disclosure demand keeps growing. This role deepens CDP's most strategic customer relationships and activates its environmental data, sustaining the revenue that funds CDP's mission.
Key responsibilities
- Manage strategic relationships with high-profile CDP customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Drive greenfield and cross-sell by identifying opportunities and developing tailored solutions.
- Develop proposals and compelling presentations aligned to client needs and CDP's value proposition.
- Shape renewal strategy with the Market Director, setting targets and monitoring performance, and lead licence and contract negotiations.
- Maintain pipeline discipline in Dynamics 365, with accurate forecasting and performance reporting.
- Mentor juniors and represent CDP at industry events, sharing market intelligence and best practice.
Team and stakeholders
Sits within CDP's Sales function, working closely with Marketing & Communications and Customer Success, and engaging corporates, financial institutions, distributors and channel partners.
Key details
- Hybrid role, around two days per week in the local office; candidates must live within a commutable distance.
- Salary $93,486 to $116,858, with holidays and benefits per local regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in renewals, customer retention, sales or a related field, preferably in the sustainability sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Customer-centric mindset, able to anticipate needs and identify opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Experience selling to financial or non-financial corporates, with understanding of customer purchase decision-making.
- Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in one or more local languages.
