Mott MacDonald is hiring a Graduate Analyst within its climate and sustainability consultancy, based in Cardiff. Part of the Strategic Advisory portfolio, you'll support global projects delivering infrastructure decarbonisation, climate resilience and sustainability performance across sectors including transport, water, energy, buildings and defence.

Key details

• Three-year early-careers development programme ("Accelerating your Future"), with a mentor and structured training.

Requirements

Essential

• Less than 12 months' relevant experience (excluding placements) and a minimum bachelor's degree (obtained no earlier than 2024, or expected) in carbon management, climate change, an engineering discipline, environmental management, mathematics, planning, sustainability or computer science.
• Understanding and awareness of at least one of: life cycle assessment; analysis of large datasets including coding (Python); or sustainability and climate change issues.

Preferred

• Familiarity with data analytics, statistical analysis, data visualisation and digital technologies.
• Ability to develop and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
• A methodical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
