Asia Clean Energy Forum 2026 will take place from 8 to 11 June 2026 at the Asian Development Bank Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. Organized by the Asian Development Bank, ACEF 2026 will be held under the theme “Beyond Transition: Building Secure, Resilient, Inclusive, and Intelligent Energy Systems.” The forum marks a major milestone alongside ADB’s 60th anniversary and will bring together governments, private sector leaders, academia, financial institutions, NGOs, and development partners to address clean energy challenges and opportunities across Asia and the Pacific.
The primary purpose of ACEF 2026 is to support collaboration, knowledge exchange, and practical clean energy solutions that go beyond traditional transition models. The forum is designed to respond to the region’s rising demand for energy systems that are secure, resilient, inclusive, and intelligent. Its objective is to help stakeholders address energy access gaps, economic uncertainty, and system reliability challenges while advancing clean energy deployment, digital innovation, and equitable participation across Asia and the Pacific.
ACEF 2026 will include ADB on-the-ground activities, pre-forum events, an opening plenary, thematic track sessions, deep-dive workshops, expert discussions, and a closing plenary. The programme will be structured around four core thematic tracks: energy security, resilient systems, inclusion, and intelligent energy systems. Key discussion areas will include diversified clean energy sources, resilient infrastructure, AI and smart grids, predictive analytics, public-private partnerships, regulatory alignment, energy access, gender and social equity, and decentralized energy models.
Asia Clean Energy Forum 2026 is significant because it focuses on the clean energy priorities of Asia and the Pacific at a time when the region faces growing demand, persistent energy access gaps, and increasing pressure from economic and geopolitical uncertainty. With more than 1,500 expected participants, 60+ countries represented, 200+ expert speakers, and 40+ sessions across four days, the forum provides an important regional platform for policymakers, investors, utilities, technology providers, development institutions, and sustainability professionals working to accelerate clean energy transformation.
The event is expected to support stronger regional cooperation, better policy alignment, and wider deployment of clean energy solutions across Asia and the Pacific. Participants are likely to leave with clearer insight into energy security, grid resilience, inclusive energy planning, digital energy systems, and investment opportunities for clean energy infrastructure. Based on the official positioning, ACEF 2026 is designed to move the regional energy conversation beyond transition and toward secure, resilient, inclusive, and intelligent energy systems that can support sustainable development.
