ISB I – Advisor Level

ISB I – Advisor Level, offered by the International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE), is an entry-level professional certification designed to provide foundational knowledge of sustainability and ESG in a business context. The certification introduces the economic, strategic, financial, and governance dimensions of sustainability and prepares learners to understand how ESG considerations influence corporate decision-making and the transition towards a low-carbon economy.

The preparatory programme is structured across five modules covering the international economic context of climate change and the green transition, sustainability and corporate strategy, carbon pricing, ecological transition from a business perspective, and sustainability governance. Learners explore markets, consumers, finance, decarbonisation, CO₂ pricing policies, carbon markets, corporate governance, and sustainability integration.

The ISB I preparatory course is delivered online and requires a minimum of 30 study hours over six weeks. The programme combines structured learning across five modules with the knowledge required to prepare for the ISB I Advisor Level certification.
